When you have a concussion, your symptoms include mental fogginess, impaired memory, inability to recall or remember words, and delayed reaction times.
But through your recovery, how do you ever know if you are back to your “normal”? Do you know your normal reaction time? Or your ability to recall
a list of words several minutes after they were given to you? It is probably safe to say that the average person does not have this information. With
studies showing as much as a 70% increase in reported concussions in youth athletes, and 26% increase in individuals 20-64 years of age, concussion
testing is more important now than ever before.

This is why Smith Physical Therapy is proud to partner with SportsBrain, a company that offers baseline and
post-injury concussion testing for anyone age 5 or older. We want to partner with you too! We want to work with you and your youth sports team organizations
to develop and implement concussion management, prevention and education specific to your athletes and staff. We want you to be confident that if your
athlete sustains a concussion, we will be there with you to help manage your athlete’s recovery.

We look forward to working with you!
